GSP Volume Pricing
Manage volume pricing in Salesforce without spreadsheets or ring binders.

Price: $350 USD per company per month
Description
Volume pricing is often done outside Salesforce, in spreadsheets or ring binders. Salespeople manually type volume based prices into products on opportunities.
That’s inefficient, increases the risk of errors and makes it impossible to track discounts accurately.
The GSP Volume Pricing app solves these problems.
The app means salespeople simply select the quantity of each product. The app does the hard work of calculating the volume based price and overall opportunity amount.
System administrators and product managers can easily define one of three volume pricing strategies for each product.
Band pricing means the price for all units the customer is purchasing is defined by whichever price band they fall into.
Tier pricing means the price for each band reduces successively. For example, if the customer is buying 15 units, she pays $100 for units 1 to 10, $95 for units 11 to 15. This results in a higher overall average price and margin compared to the band approach.
Incremental pricing means each successive unit is priced at a fractionally lower cost than the previous one.
The accompanying blog post gives more detail on when each volume based pricing strategy is appropriate and the impact on overall margin.
