Apply Volume Pricing to Groups

You can use volume pricing on Groups using the “GSP Product Manager” app alongside the Volume Pricing app. This will allow group components to receive volume pricing when added as a standalone and when added via a group.

This can be configured when creating volume pricing records.

On creation, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Volume Pricing Tab.
  2. Click New Volume Pricing Group.
  3. Select either Bands or Tiers.
  4. Fill out the required fields.
    • Volume Pricing Name – Give it an appropriate name. Try to use a standardized naming convention.
    • Price Book – Assign the appropriate Price Book for this Volume Pricing Group
    • Start Date – When does the Volume Pricing Record become Active
    • End Date – Optional, only populate if the Volume Pricing has an end date.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Add all your applicable products from the left-hand side.
  7. Then click the Groups checkbox next to the products you want to apply volume pricing to when added as a group component.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Set your band or tier parameters.
  10. Then Save & Finish.

When you add this Product to a Group or stand-alone via the Product Manager page, your volume pricing will be applied where applicable.
