How to Calculate Volume Pricing Percentages

Many customers think about $ values when considering Volume Pricing rather than the actual percentage discounts. However, the Volume Pricing app uses percentage discounts when setting up bands and tiers. To help our customers calculate the percentage discounts, you can use this formula:

Percentage Discount = ((Original Price – New Price) / Original Price) * 100

We allow you to set percentage discounts up to fifteen decimal places, so don’t worry if your calculations give you lots of decimal points. The volume pricing app can handle it.
