Account Fields

The app includes the following Account level fields. Add some or all of these fields to your Account page layouts.

Key: Field Label (API Name, Field Type, Additional Information)

 

  • Current Segment (KeyAccountPlan__Current_Segment__c, Picklist, Default Values: Strategic Customer, Steady Customer, Expert For Hire, No Relationship, Dormant, Negative)
    This field describes the Current Segment that this customer/prospect belongs to. Use this picklist field in conjunction with Target Segment. Many companies track Accounts’ current and desired status using these two fields.You can modify the picklist values to suit how your business segments its customers and prospects.
  • Target Segment (KeyAccountPlan__Target_Segment__c, Picklist, Default Values: Strategic Customer, Steady Customer, Expert For Hire, No Relationship)
    This field describes the Target Segment that this customer/prospect belongs to. Use this picklist field in conjunction with Current Segment. Many companies track Accounts’ current and desired status using these two fields.You can modify the picklist values to suit how your business segments its customers and prospects.
  • Top Level Account (KeyAccountPlan__Top_Level_Account__c, Lookup)
    An automated lookup relationship to the highest-level Account within a group of companies linked by the parent-child standard relationship. Use the batch process on the Account Plan Setup page to initiate this for existing Accounts.
  • Master Account (KeyAccountPlan__Master_Account__c, Formula, Text)
    A text field that automatically populates with the name of the Top-Level Account. Useful in reports and dashboard charts.

Please Note: The following fields have been deprecated: Account Call Frequency, Account Last Activity Date, Account Next Activity Date.
