Create Product Bundles

A Product Bundle is when you add a Bundle to an Opportunity; the total price of the components will be assigned to the Bundle Opportunity Product, and all components within the bundle have a $0 value.

1. Create the Bundle Product

  1. Go to the Products Tab
  2. Click the New Package Button
  3. Click Bundle, then Select
  4. Fill out the mandatory fields:
    1. Package Name – what is the bundle called?
  5. Select the appropriate Pricebook.
  6. Assign it to a Product Family. In which section of the Manager Tree Structure should it appear?
  7. Assign it a Product Code. What is the unique identifier for the Product?
  8. Then click Save, which will create your bundle parameters.

2. Configure the Bundle Sections

  1. To add new Sections to the Bundle, click the Add Section button.
  2. To edit the parameters of the section, click the pencil. You can then edit the following:
    1. The Name – Label your section appropriately
  3. Determine if it is single-select or multi-select. Single-select means only one product in the section can be chosen, and multi-select allows one or more.
  4. Is it a required section? Do we have to choose a product from this section every time?

Once you have created all your sections, you can add the Products to the Bundle.

3. Adding Products to the Bundle Sections

  1. To add a product to the bundle, locate it on the left-hand column and click the plus button.
  2. By Default, the Product will appear in the Top Section; however, you can drag and drop it to the appropriate section.
  3. Once in the correct section, you can adjust the product in the following ways:
    1. Make it default. Is it pre-selected when loading the bundle?
    2. Modify the Sales Price
    3. Modify the Quantity
    4. Repeat steps 1-3 until you have added all your Products to the Bundle, then click Save.

You have now successfully created a Bundle. Please repeat the above steps to create the rest of your Bundles.
