Configure the Opportunity Lightning Page and Page Layout(s)

Follow these steps to add the fields from the Product Schedules app to your Opportunity page layouts.

  • Go to an Opportunity.
  • Click the Setup cog, then Edit Page.
  • On the left-hand side, scroll down to the custom section.
  • Drag the editSchedulesParent module onto the page below the Opportunity Stages path.

  • Click Save and Activate the page.
  • Navigate to Setup.
  • Click on Object Manager and then click Opportunity.
  • Click on Page Layouts, then select the first-page layout.
  • Let’s add two new fields. Click Fields in the top pane. Drag # Schedules and Total Schedule Revenue onto your Opportunity page layout. If you’re using Quantity Schedules, add Total Schedule Quantity instead.

  • Next, add the Product Schedules Related List. Click Related Lists in the top pane, and drag Product Schedules onto your page layout.
  • Adjust the visible columns on the list related to the product schedule. Click the spanner on the list related to product schedules. Add these fields:
    Schedule Date
    Booked Amount or Booked Quantity (depending on whether you use Revenue or Quantity Schedules)
    Product
  • Save the Opportunity Page layout. Repeat the steps above if you have multiple Opportunity Page layouts.
