Account Plan Partner Roles
What are Account Plan Partner Roles?
The Account Plan Partner Roles related list allows you to define the other companies that will influence the success of your Key Account Plan.
Not only does this allow you to directly link Partner Account records to the Key Account Plan, but it also means you can define the relationship a Partner has with any Key Account in the system.
How to create an Account Plan Partner Role
Start by clicking the Manage Account Plan button on the Key Account Plan Page:
When the Pop-Up loads, click the Role Assignment Tile:
Then, expand the Account Plan Partner Role section of the page.
Add in the Accounts you wish to define roles for using the search box.
Finally, define the role of each company using the Partner Type field:
Remember, your system administrator can customize the Partner Type picklist values if that will better suit your business needs. To do this, see Modifying the Account Plan Partner Roles Picklists.
