Using the Contact Heat Map for Contact Roles

What is a Contact Heat Map?

The Contact Heat Map allows you to define the influence and likelihood to recommend us of the contacts associated with an account plan.

Remember, these factors can differ from the role of these (or other) Contacts on an Opportunity.

Using the heat map, you can record and track these contacts’ decision-making influence and relationship strengths.

Incidentally, you can customize the Influence and Likelihood to Recommend picklist values to align more closely with your business’s terminology.

How to Use the Heat Map

  • Start by clicking the Manage Account Plan button on the Key Account Plan Page.

  • When the Pop-Up loads, click the Contact Heat Map Tile

  • The following page lists all the Contacts on the Account on the right-hand side. You can then drag and drop Contacts onto the appropriate square in the heat map.

  • Remember to click Save when you have finished.

Note: You can have multiple contacts in the same square.
