Modify the Account Segmentation Fields

Segmenting your customers is a critical first step in account planning.

The app gives you two fields (Current Segment and Target Segment) on the Account for categorizing customers and prospects.

You can modify these fields by navigating to:

  • Setup.
  • Object Manager
  • Select the Account Object
  • On the left-hand side, select Fields & Relationships.
  • Click on the Appropriate Field (Current Segment or Target Segment).

  • Modify the picklist values using the new, edit, or delete options.

  • Add the fields to your Account page layout(s).
