Modify the Reports and Dashboards
The app includes pre-built dashboards with underlying reports. The Dashboards are:
To view the Dashboards:
- Click the Dashboards tab.
- Navigate to All Folders (on the left).
- Select the Account Planning Folder.
- Click the Account Planning (Lightning) Dashboard.
The dashboards contain multiple charts reporting Sales KPIs, Objectives, and Whitespace performance.
Remember that if you customize the app by rolling up custom fields from the Opportunity to the Key Account Plan, you will need to add these custom fields to the reports and dashboard charts.
As usual, you can add a filter to the dashboard (click Edit on the dashboard, then Filter). You can edit the dashboard layout using the standard Edit button.
You can extend the dashboard by adding other chart variants from the pre-built reports or creating new reports using the Key Account Plan report type.
Before customizing any reports or dashboards, select Save As and clone to a new report. This preserves the original while modifying the new report to your business needs.
Repeat the above process for the Whitespaces Dashboard.
