Adding Key Account Planning List to Layouts | Account Planner by GSP

— Intro —

The Key Account Plan related list allows users to view the Key Account Plans associated with an Account directly from the Account record. To make this available, the Key Account Plans related list must be added to the relevant Account page layouts.

— Prerequisites —

Before completing these steps, ensure you have:

• Access to Salesforce Setup.
• The required permissions to edit the Account page layouts.
• Access to the Account object and page layout settings.

— Steps to Complete —

1. Go to Setup.
2. Select Object Manager.
3. Click on Account.
4. Select Page Layouts.
5. Click the name of the first Account page layout you want to update.
6. Select Related Lists.
7. Drag the Key Account Plans related list onto the Account page layout.
8. Click Save to apply the changes.

— Outcomes —

After completing these steps:

• The Key Account Plans related list will appear on the Account record page.
• Users will be able to view Key Account Plans associated with an Account.

— Troubleshooting —

Q: I cannot see the Key Account Plans on my Account Related List.
A: Confirm that the related list was added to the correct Account page layout. Check that changes were saved successfully.

Q: I can see the Key Account Plans Related List, but another User Cannot.
A: Verify that the user is assigned the correct permissions to view Accounts and Key Account Plans.

Q: Do I need to add the Key Account Plan Related List to all Account Page Layouts?
A: Add the Related List to the appropriate Account Page Layouts where a User may want to see the associated Account Plans from that Account.
