Add the Manage Account Plan LWC to the Key Account Plan Layout
— Intro —
The Manage Account Plan Lightning Web Component (LWC) button allows users to access account plan management functionality directly from the Key Account Plan record. To make the button available, it must be added to the Key Account Plan page layout actions.
— Prerequisites —
Before completing these steps, ensure you have:
- Access to Salesforce Setup.
- The required permissions to edit the Key Account Plan page layouts.
- Access to the Key Account Plan object and page layout settings.
— Steps to Complete —
- Go to Setup.
- Select Object Manager.
- Click on Key Account Plan.
- Select Page Layouts.
- Open your Key Account Plan Layout.
- Select Mobile & Lightning Actions.
- Drag the Manage Account Plan into the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
— Outcomes —
After completing these steps:
- The Manage Account Plan button will appear on the Key Account Plan record page.
- Users will be able to access account plan management features directly from the record.

Q: I cannot see the button
A: Make sure the button has been added to the page layout you are on and that you have the correct permissions to see the button.
