Configure the Product Manager – Subtotals Feature

The “Product Manager – Subtotals” Field Set determines which Opportunity Product fields are included in the sub-total calculations on the Edit Opportunity Products Page (second page). A maximum of 10 fields can be displayed from this field set.

By default, you can see the Total Price of all Line Items on the second page. However, there may be other fields you wish to see the subtotals for, typical examples are Gross Margin & Warranty Period.

By default, this feature is hidden, but it becomes active and visible when you add a field to the field set.

Follow these steps to modify the field set

1. Click on Object Manager, then select Opportunity Product.
2. Click on Field Sets, then select the “Product Manager – Subtotals” field set.
3. Drag and drop the fields that you wish to use into the “In the Field Set” Section.
4. Save the Field Set.

You can now view the subtotals on the second page of the Product Manager.

Note that these fields can only be quantitative and must be on the Opportunity Product object to be used in this field set.
