How to Edit Target Records

Now that you’ve set the targets, you might want to change them. For example, the target amounts have changed.

No problem.

There are three easy ways to do this.

• Use the Allocate Targets page to update monthly targets. The process is very similar to when you created the targets. This time, change the target amounts. Note: This is for Monthly Targets Only
• Use a List View. This approach works for all types of targets. To update multiple records, use the mass inline editing facility on List Views.
• Use the Apex Data Loader. This approach can be used for all types of targets. Export the existing targets (remember to include the Target Record ID). Update the Target field in Excel. Perform an update on the correct target object.
