Changing the Schedule Parameters on an Opportunity Product

You can change the schedule parameters of an Opportunity Product anytime during the pipeline stages of an Opportunity. This will recut the schedules and produce an updated revenue forecast.

Remember, after the opportunity is Closed Won, the schedule’s Booked Amount is preserved. However, can then update the Expected Amount to reflect actual and forecast revenue after the deal is implemented.

To adjust the schedule parameters:

1. Go to your Opportunity.
2. Click the Manage Schedules button.
3. Click the drop-down on the left-hand side and choose Edit Schedules.
4. Find the Opportunity Product you wish to modify.
5. Amend any Product Schedules fields (Schedule Start Date, # Schedules).
6. Click Save.

New Product Schedules will be recreated to match your updated parameters.
