Configuring the Default # Schedules on Products

In GSP Product Schedules, you can set the default number of schedules for your products. This is useful for controlling schedule parameters and making adding products to opportunities more efficient.

To set up this functionality on a specific product, follow these steps:

 

Adding the Field to the Page Layout

  • Go to Setup.
  • Click on Object Manager, then the “Product” Object.
  • Click Page Layouts on the left-hand side.
  • Add the “Default # Revenue Schedule Months” field to the Page Layout.
  • Click Save.

Repeat this process for all applicable page layouts.

 

Setting the values on a product

  • Go to the applicable Product record.
  • Click “Edit”.
  • Populate a numeric value in the “Default # Revenue Schedule Months” Field.
  • Click Save.

Repeat the process for all appropriate products.

Note: If you use annual schedules and want the default value to be 1 year, enter “1” here.
