Enabling & Configuring Batch Schedule Creation

By default, Schedule Batching is not enabled. To enable it, a system administrator must define the batch threshold, i.e., the number of Opportunity Products that can be scheduled/rescheduled simultaneously before the batch is used.

To do so, take the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Setup.
  2. In the Quick Find Bar, search for Custom Metadata Types.
  3. Click on Custom Metadata Types.
  4. Find Product Schedule Settings and click Manage Records.
  5. Your org should contain a record named Default. If it does, click the Edit link. If it doesn’t, click New and enter Default as the Label and Product Schedule Settings Name.
  6. Set the Schedule Batch Threshold to a positive, non-zero integer. Any other value will leave the batch disabled.
  7. Click Save.
